Here is a simple yet usefull reel for your morphagene. I sampled various noise source from various modules to be used into my shared system, as this instrument does not contain any classic one. This reel is arranged like this:splice 1 : left = white noise / right = pink noisesplice 2: left = metallic noise / right = digital noisesplice 3 : left = tuned noise 1 / right = tuned noise 2splice 4 : left = tuned noise 2 / right = tuned noise 3splice 5 : left = tuned noise 4 / right = tuned noise 5splice 6 : left = tuned noise 6 / right = tuned noise 7splice 7 : left = downsampling noise sweep / right = fluctuating random noise sweep. Most sound comes from the verbos electronics random sampling module. The tuned noises are made of white noise fming the verbos harmonic oscillator, each are one of the eights harmonics being recorded. Enjoy !.

A little thing i came up with while doing some research on how j macis writes music. Found out he puts a capo on the second fret and by doing that this japanese pop chord progression i learned by watching a video marty friedman did on japanese style guitar improv was sounding a lot better than without one. This is a sawtooth waveform suitable for easily tuning guitar by ear, comprised of 20 seconds each of e-a-d-g-b-e in sequence. Adjust guitar volume to same volume as the tone, ideally through the same audio output. Tune the string close to the tone, then listen for the subtle beat-frequency indicating not-quite-perfect tune. When the beat frequency goes away, your guitar string is in perfect tune. Also useful for adjustable bridges. The open string and its 12th fret octave will both produce no beat-frequency when the bridge is adjusted properly.

Recorded with olympus ls-10 (no zoom) in a small reverberating bathroom, edited in audacity to make a seamless loop. The whole pack intended to be used as a virtual instrument. I've scanned the radio frequencies with an old radio and recorded with my tascam dr-05 via the headphone jack. You can hear some weird looping patterns and sound fragments from random radio stations.

Messing with alternate tuning and various capo positions and came up with this sonic youth sort of jam, maybe you'll find it inspirational or useful!.

Formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. This is another reel made in the modular using the new intellijel plonk, which is amazing for microsound but also really jagged edges. My interest in this module was as far from anyone else's haha. This is one of the most fun to play with, especially when sending modulation into every input!.
